These days it’s commonplace to do everything online, from designing the layout of your kitchen to locating a stranger prepared to kill and eat you for mutual sexual gratification.

hi. I'm currently a student studying abroad in Japan. The most flattering compliment I've ever received is "I think of you every time I pop a devastating ass pimple." I get along best with middle-aged housewives. My username is from a friend saying "I've been in pain for a while now" later used as a looping ringtone. I'm on neocities to share my multitudes, my fictions, my secret taboos, alongside thousands of others in your background noise, a kaleidoscope of human experiences.

Going through neocities is adorable, I wish there were other ways of this sort of personal self-expression. My time here now easily rivals the other sanity debuffs I click through. I've always been curious about the circles people choose to gravitate toward: the art they enjoy, music they listen to, hobbies they invest in. Tumblr was a great example of a carefully cultivated environment: An endless feed of media that expands upon your existing interests depending on who you follow. Expand your scope and more diverse stuff comes your way. Archives of Geocities and by extension, Neocities grants me that perspective through demonstrations of self-expression in open-ended personal sites. Each one is wildly different in content and charm, it illicits something in me that I don't feel with feeds of algorithmically selected posts.

Above all, I'm interested in the mentalities people adhere to. Their outlook on life, how they structure their day-to-day and reflect about their past. I've had a rather contentious relationship with both, and it's refreshing to see some different approaches. A .txt file used to occupy my thoughts, but it was too 2D to be a helpful reference. Neocities allows me to catalog my thoughts in a concise manner and include pictures. Best part is I feel compelled to distill down my emotions into something succinct, a plate of palpable regurgitations.

This site is a good exercise for me to have my interests laid out and periodically updated. I was the kinda kid to bring their favorite toys everywhere. That mentality has stuck with me. Hopefully you'll find some personal intersections in my writings. Sorry if you're a neo-nazi or something.

questions? suggestions? death threats? take a gander at the guestbook or mpregbionicle@proton.me. I'm just a normal guy and I'd love to hear your thoughts about anything. I'm very impressionable and I will join your extremist organization

    Books

photobooks Invertebrate pests of japan Vermis II is the second of an artbook series by the artist Plastiboo. A pure act of world-building inspired by old dungeon crawler games. Leo Lionni created a baffling, even maddening, encyclopedic compendium that describes, illustrates, arrays, and summarizes a host of imaginary plants - his parallel botany. This four-volume set of books constituted an attempt to catalog the variety of living things on Earth, a formidable endeavor that Seba was nevertheless well placed to undertake, rendering each one in engravings made life-like by their depth of color and detail. Pursuing the idea that human affection could be understood, studied, even measured, Harry Harlow arrived at his conclusions by conducting research - sometimes beautiful, sometimes horrible - on the primates in his University of Wisconsin laboratory. This comprehensive analysis of the Japanese student movement was written by six students... it deals with both actions and theory, all the while showing the underlying causes. Included is a fascinating portrait of a radical group and the student subculture that it is part of. From a physician's perspective, this is a unique history of the American Revolution and how diseases impacted the execution of the war effort. chronicles the major events and movements from 1945 to the new flowering of protests and civil dissent in the wake of Fukushima...fascinating ideologies and personalities on the Right and the Left, including the student movement, militant groups and communes. Trends in men's and women's fashions from the beginnings of human history to the 1970s are examined against the backdrop of changing social values and sexual mores. A symphonic oral history about the disintegration of the Soviet Union and the emergence of a new Russia, from Svetlana Alexievich, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature Mitchell Jr. spent more than a dozen years among survivalists at public conferences, private meetings, and clandestine training camps across America. He takes us inside a compelling, hidden world more connected to the chaos of modern life many of us experience than the label “separatist” suggests. Richard M. Price asks why, among all the ominous technologies of weaponry throughout the history of warfare, chemical weapons carry a special moral stigma Riot control agents and herbicides in war : their humanitarian, toxicological, ecological, military, polemological, and legal aspects
